Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Horncastle

Year 11 geographers visit Hull

Prior to the summer holiday this group of students had enjoyed a sunny day's fieldwork in Skegness; the weather conditions could not have been more different in Hull on Thursday 30th September!
Students completed a range of fieldwork activities and learnt more about a city they had previously studied in the course. Despite a blustery and rainy start to the day, the students all worked hard without any complaints and fortunately the weather conditions improved through the day.
One of the highlights of the day was spending lunchtime in the St Stephen's shopping centre, and the array of food choices that this presented!
It has been a pleasure to be able to conduct fieldwork activities once again and the day was enjoyed by both students and the staff attending the trip.
