Year 10 Geography Trip - Evaluating Regeneration Schemes in Hull

Year 10 geographers participated in a field trip to Hull City Centre on Thursday 7th July.

The aim of the trip was to investigate the success of regeneration schemes in locations including The Fruit Market and St Stephen's Shopping Centre. In addition, the trip supported the prior learning of this city from earlier this year and gave students the opportunity to participate in a range of fieldwork techniques.

The weather was glorious and contributed to a very successful day, which saw students engage fully with all of the required activities. It was a particularly encouraging to see students confidently interview members of the public and business owners. A lunchtime visit to the food court area of St Stephen's proved very popular to all on the trip!
