SchoolY13 Netball - David Ross Invitational Tournament
On Friday 27th February QEGS travelled to the David Ross Sports Village at Nottingham University to compete in the David Ross Invitational Netball Tournament.
The team started really well with a 9-4 win against Nottingham High School & a 3-1 win over Amherst from Loughborough.
Unfortunately that's where their luck ended after a closely fought semi final against Priory Ruskin drawing 3-3 at half time, they lost 4-6.
QEGS final game for 3rd/4th place was against Nottingham High School who QEGS had beaten quite convincingly in their 1st game; this was a battle of the defences & was goal for goal with turnover after turnover. The game finished 5-6 in Nottingham's favour & therefore QEGS U13 finished in 4th place overall.
