The QEGS year 1 netball team travelled to Banovallum to play their first game of the new academic year. The girls started well, taking a 7-1 lead into the quarter break. They continued to apply pressure, particularly in defence, not allowing Banovallum to score n the second quarter. At half time QEGS were leading 12-1. Substitutions were made, but unfortunately these didn't have the desired affect with 4 goals conceded & only 2 goals scored. So at three quarter time tactical substitutions were made & QEGS confidently pulled away again, to finish 21-7.
