Celebrating Sixth Form Life – Sixth Former takes charity trek for the Alzheimer's Society
On July 12th, one of our L6th formers, Joshua Lascelles (bravely accompanied by his mum Mrs Lascelles and 4 other members of their family) will be walking 26.2 miles across the North Yorkshire moors to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. This is a cause very close to Joshua's heart as his maternal grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in April 2023. Calling themselves the 'Douglas Ronald Ramblers' after Joshua's grandfather, the group are aiming to raise £2,100 to help combat this dreadful disease. Any contributions to their challenge would be gratefully received and would go a long way to spurring them on over the hills!! If you would like to contribute, please do click on the link below and you will be taken to the "Douglas Ronald Ramblers' JustGiving page which has been set up for the team by Rosie Barnes (Joshua's cousin).
