Celebrating Sixth Form Life - QEGS Teams Excel at National Schools Competition

On Friday 27th June, QEGS entered two teams into the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) Schools Competition at Nottingham Trent University. Students took on the challenge of managing a fictional local council, tackling complex tasks such as implementing a 5% budget cut and addressing union concerns over job losses.

It was an engaging and valuable experience for all involved. While we were unable to retain our title, both teams performed exceptionally well, securing 2nd and 3rd place overall.
