Post-18 Information - Tuesday 17th June 2025

As part of our commitment to supporting students in discovering the most suitable post-18 pathway, we hold a Post-18 Information Evening each June. Open to all Year 12 students, along with their parents and carers, the event takes place in the main school hall at QEGS. It begins with an overview of the possibilities available beyond QEGS, including information on university, apprenticeships, and other options. University representatives discuss how to choose a university, university life, and details are provided on entrance tests for medics, vets, dentists, and Oxbridge applicants by school staff. An apprenticeship provider is usually in attendance to offer an overview of the apprenticeship application process and structure. The evening also includes guidance on student finance and workshops for parents on how to support their children through university applications. Further details and confirmed schedule will be shared nearer to the event.

These documents contain the information shared at last year’s Post-18 Information Evening.
