GCSE Results for QEGS

We are so proud of our Year 11 students this year. Their approach to their education has been first class throughout their time at the school and we are delighted that this has been recognised through their GCSE results.

They are an impressive group of young people who have demonstrated such determination and endeavour, and should be proud of all they have achieved.

56% of the year group gained five or more GCSEs at grade 7 or above and the average grade of all GCSEs taken was 6.8; however, excellent GCSE results do not happen by chance and come about through the hard work and commitment of staff and students along with unfailing support from home.

Special mention should be made of Tristan Cull, Jessica Dodwell and Isobel Neal who achieved a grade 9 in every one of their GCSE subjects, whilst Aleesha Asghar, Emily Cooper, Hattie Filmore, Dillan Jaggernauth, Maaria Rajput, Isabella Schofield and Mira Subramaniam achieved a grade 8 or 9 in each of their GCSE subjects.

They are in good company as Yasmin Barsby, Bethan Beese, Harry Bryant, Jessica East, Emma Eastham, Rhea Gnanapandithen, Georgina Hadley, Hirah Jouvenal, Daisy Lascelles, Emily Mackwood, Poppy Parker, Gabby Phipps-Smith, Ishita Verma achieved a grade 7 or above in each of their GCSE subjects.

We are particularly proud and impressed to see so many of our students achieving at such an exceptionally high standard and it goes without saying that we are looking forward to welcoming many of them back to the Sixth Form in September.
