The flute choir have been to Birmingham to perform in the Music for Youth Festival Fringe.  The students performed in the festival tent in the City Centre Gardens before attending a music workshop led by ex-cathedra.  The group performed a medley of pieces all with their own choreography and the music was performed from memory.  It was great to be part of a national festival and we managed to pick a really sunny day too!

Our Girls' Choir and West Street Jazz took part in this year's Lincolnshire Schools' Prom at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness.  The choir performed 'Run' and 'Price Tag', the jazz played 'Ten Tonne Skeleton' and 'Can't Stop This Feeling'.  The groups then joined the other 300 or so participants in a finale featuring the song 'Hold my Hand'.  It was an excellent event and a great opportunity to perform on a professional stage to a sell-out audience.
