Students are offered opportunities to enrich their learning through a variety of visits and visitors. For example, re-enactors visit the school to provide talks and demonstrations about the Civil War to Year 8. Year 9s have hosted question and answer sessions from those who lived through the Second World War. Overseas visits have taken place to the Battlefields of the First World War for Year 9 and Year 12. Year 12 may visit the local church to study key features of the building as part of their course on the English Revolution and also visit historical sites in London connected with the English Civil War. In 2015 a visit took place to the House of Parliament that was open to all year groups.
