Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Horncastle

Allegro Appassionato

10 students went to Louth to perform in the lunchtime concert series 'Allegro Appassionato'.  The A level music students used the opportunity to record their exam recitals and were supported by students in years 8-10, with a mix of singers, pianists and a violinist (who played from memory!). The programme included songs from Les Misérables, a student composition and music by composers including Joep Beving and Samuel Coleridge Taylor. The audience were warm and appreciative. The students were exceptional, and we have been invited back next year!
